Just want to share comforting Scripture from God's inspired Word, the Bible with the family. Isaiah 41:10 says: Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! My condolences to the Foy family. Rev Foy was a friend to my parents an advocate for the community...especially for the least of these.
May you find comfort in the days to come.

May the family find comfort in the days ahead. I remember Reverend Foy during the 80's and 90's. He did not mince words and had the community in mind whenever he spoke. Rest well Reverend Foy. You were a true warrior.

LaSalle, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Your dad was a good man. Know that when we are absent from the body, WE ARE PRESENT with the Lord. God is Good. I know he will continue to watch over you and your family and provide comfort at this difficult time. May He continue to bless you and your family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Reverend Foy when he was at St. Paul A.M.E. Church here in Raleigh. I also remember him announcing that he had written a book on black inventors, so he was great at educating people on the success of black inventors. I pray GOD will continue to bless your family and that HE will continue to guide you all throughout your grief. Take care and GOD bless.
