God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! Dee you were the big sister I never had. All you did was took care of everyone but yourself. The memories I have with you will never leave me. It was always a great and funny time. This one really messed me up but no more pain and suffering. I never met someone that can cook like you. I wish you left a recipe book especially for those stuffed pork chops. I love you Darlissa and continue to rest easy girl.

Dee, you were always a breath of fresh air on our shifts at Whitlow's. I will always remember how positive and genuine you were and how easy it was for you to bring a smile to my face. You were an incredible person and I will never forget you. You left this world way too early and I feel so sorry for all of those that never had the opportunity to meet you. Sending love and courage and strength to Jalen who lost his wonderful and dedicated Mom.

I still struggle with the fact that you have a new home "Heaven" which leaves me both happy and sad. I think about our fun times at NC DHHS and the after work outings. I'm grateful to have kept in contact with you after we decided to make new lives / homes in different states. You were always an amazing woman! You've touched lives everywhere you went. I see the tremendous amount of friends, co-workers and others who loved you dearly. You're a great mom and made a great life for you and Jaylen. You will forever be missed. Sleep in Peace my dear friend. Sending many hugs and kisses all the way from Stamford, CT. May God bless the Franklin family and find comfort as they mourn the loss of such a beautiful woman!
