Celebrating the life of Mr. Edward L. McGee
Thank you for signing Mr. Edward L. McGee's Guestbook
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is very difficult on the remaining family members when we lose someone we dearly love. A scripture that comforts me is found at 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4.
There it says "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."
During this difficult time, I hope the family can find the needed comfort from the promises found in God's word. (Revelation 21:3,4)

May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from reading his inspired Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Psalm 62:8 "Pour out your hearts before him".Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 57:1; Psalms 34:18) jw.org

Ed was the kind of man we all strive to be. He had our respect and admiration. He was "present" to everyone, always positive, and a lot of fun. He also had a rare gift for keeping a whole campsite awake with his snoring - Chainsaw, we are sure going to miss you!

It deeply saddened our hearts to hear of the passing of Mr. McGee. May the cherished memories of having someone as dear and precious as him for many, many years linger in your hearts forever. To the McGee family, Take comfort in God's love during these difficult days. Continue to hold onto his unchanging hands, allow his shoulders to be the one you will lean on, his hands to be there to wipe your tears, and his arms to be there for you to hold onto. Please know that the Usher Board members of St.Paul AME Church will especially be remembering each of you in our thoughts and prayers during your time of bereavement.

Honored to call Ed our Friend, we will miss him dearly and enjoy remembering what a caring and thoughtful person he was. Sharing a bit of trout stream with Ed was always a special day.
