My fondest memories of Ella is waking up to her knocking on my door early in the morning and she leaving late at night. My family and I lived down the street from Halifax Court (Blount Street) and Ella, Niecy and Gerard all would hang out there. Those were some good times. I haven't had much contact with Ella after we became adults however; I would always ask about her. It's hard to believe that she is now gone, she will be missed. I am so thankful for the times I did have with her. Keeping her family in prayer.

I went to school and grew up with Ella Mae in Halifax Court. There were never a dull moment when she was around. I loved her smile and laughter. I will forever miss her and will continue to keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Ella Mae in Halifax Court, we really had some good times. Between my brothers and her brother and sister we were hell raisers. The Cox family will keep the Smith family in prayers. Always remember absence from the body means to be present with the Lord
